HPE packaging guidelines

The HPE packaging guidelines set out minimum standards for load and stress resistant packaging during the transport of technical goods. They aim to ensure the protection of goods against the many hazards and stresses during the course of the logistic chain so that products can be made available without damage at the place of destination.

The HPE packaging guidelines have been revised and re-edited by a special working committee of the technical group on "Packaging according to HPE standards" within HPE e.V., by the transport managers' group of the working party on major projects of the VDMA and the BFSV Hamburg. The guidelines form a 100 page, size A4 brochure and are available in German and English. The manual has been updated and enhanced with sector specific photographic material and most existing drawings have been replaced by new ones.
